Our Vitamin C Eye Serum is a powerful, non-irritating eye treatment that, over time, reduces the appearance of under eye circles and discoloration. Vitamin C: Supercharged Brightening & Smoothing

Many beauty products feature L-Ascorbic Acid, which require water-based formulas. This makes it difficult for the serums to successfully penetrate beyond the skin’s protective water barrier. Most water-soluble forms of Vitamin C are also highly acidic, which can disrupt a healthy skin barrier and cause major irritation. Ascorbic Acid is known for being notoriously unstable and prone to oxidation. This is especially true when packaging exposes the formula to light and air. Unlike L-Ascorbic Acid, our Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) is extremely stable and lipid/fat soluble, meaning it has a greater affinity for skin because its fatty acid component helps aid penetration. It is able to successfully penetrate the epidermis and move to the layer underneath called the dermis. It’s in the dermis that collagen, a protein that gives skin its youthful firmness and ability to resist wrinkles, is made.

Directions

Gently roll onto eye area. Pat with finger until absorbed. Use morning and evening. Keep out of eyes.
