Pup of the Month: Wrangler
EACH MONTH WE WILL BE HIGHLIGHTING ONE DOG AT THE PENNSYLVANIA SPCA THAT IS IN NEED OF A LOVING HOME. NOT ONLY WILL WE BE TELLING EACH PUP'S STORY, WE WILL ALSO BE PAYING FOR THE ADOPTION FEE FOR THAT PUP IF ONE OF OUR AMAZING CUSTOMERS GIVES THEM A LOVING HOME. HELP US HELP THEM!
MEET WRANGLER
Name: Wrangler
Breed: Pitbull Mix
Approximate Age: 4 years old
Meet Wrangler, a short and stocky pitbull mix with an absolutely contagious grin. Wrangler is currently living with his amazing foster mom, but is searching for his forever home. He's sweet, playful and smart, and would make for the perfect addition to a loving family!
While at the PSPCA, Wrangler got really worked up coming out of his kennel as he wasn't getting enough exercise. This caused him to seem a bit mouthy and jumpy, however in his foster home, these behaviors have completely gone away! So far, he's proving to be very house-trained and is thriving in a home setting. This guy will need to have continued regular walks and playtime with other dogs because this structure will greatly help with his energy level. Wrangler is a super good boy and already knows the commands "sit" and "down."
Look at that amazing smile! Wrangler is happiest when he's playing, and has earned the title of "star of the doggie playgroup" at the shelter. He's a bit of a rough and rowdy player, but is super receptive to correction from dogs who don't quite share the same love of wrestling that he does. Wrangler would most definitely enjoy having another furry companion (if possible) at his permanent home, so existing dog owners, we're looking at you!
In his current foster situation, he's certainly soaking in all of the amazing things that come along with being a member of a real home. Wrangler is loving life being cozy on the couch with a good tv show, hanging with his dog siblings and sleeping in a warm bed. He's a pro at all of this already, so could easily do these activities in your home instead!
