EACH MONTH WE WILL BE HIGHLIGHTING ONE DOG AT THE PENNSYLVANIA SPCA THAT IS IN NEED OF A LOVING HOME. NOT ONLY WILL WE BE TELLING EACH PUP'S STORY, WE WILL ALSO BE PAYING FOR THE ADOPTION FEE FOR THAT PUP IF ONE OF OUR AMAZING CUSTOMERS GIVES THEM A LOVING HOME. HELP US HELP THEM!
MEET BLUE
Name: Blue
Breed: Mastiff Mix
Approximate Age: 4 years old
Meet Blue, a happy Mastiff mix currently living at the PSPCA. Blue was formally known as Boo, but is anything but scary! Blue is a super friendly pup who loves to meet new people. He'd love the chance to get to know you!
Blue originally arrived to the shelter in May of 2017 as a stray. Sadly no one claimed him, and he was in the care of the PSPCA until January of this year when he was adopted. He lived happily and healthy in a home until just a few weeks ago when his owners returned him due to not being able to afford his care. Boo has entropion, meaning a portion of his eyelids are inverted (or folded inward). Because of this, his eyes can become a little irritated and he needs some eye drops, but it's totally no big deal! Blue takes it like a champ and appreciates the help.
Everyone at the PA SPCA loves Blue and only have great things to say about his personality and behavior! As a note, Blue can get a little excited sometimes, and since he's big, he may be best suited for a home with adults and teenagers. His friends at the shelter feel that Blue could also benefit from a few training classes to learn how to stay a little more calm.
Blue may look like a tough guy on the outside, but don't let him fool you - he's a total sweetheart! He would love to go back to a warm and loving home with an owner who will care for him. Could you be the one for Blue?
